Our policies

  • Safeguarding

How we protect the women, girls and children we work with from harm, abuse and exploitation, including by our own staff and volunteers.

  • Consent and privacy

We take informed consent, in Telugu, before using any woman’s photograph, name or story, and she can withdraw it at any time.

  • Complaints

Anyone can raise a concern about our work in confidence by writing to us. Every complaint is reviewed by the board.

  • Financial controls

Our accounts are audited each year by an independent chartered accountant.

Reports

Annual reports and audited financial statements will be published here as downloadable files.

How we measure impact

For every woman we track where she is in our four steps: identified, counselled, trained, rehabilitated. We count the women trained and certified at each skill centre, and those earning an income six months later.
